Food Safety Information for Consumers
Refrigerate leftovers within two hours of preparation.
Food meant to be cold, is served cold.
Thaw frozen food in the refrigerator. Place a pan or cookie sheet underneath to catch any juices and to prevent them from dripping.
Don’t leave groceries in trunk of car for an extended period, especially during hot weather. Plan your stops so that grocery shopping is your
last
stop!
