| The Agri-Food Laboratories (AFL) conducts laboratory testing and provides scientific information and advice to inform decision-making and policy discussions about animal heath, food safety and public health in support of the agri-food industry.
The AFL is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada as a testing laboratory for specific test methods. Testing is performed exclusively for AFL partners, colleagues, collaborators, and stakeholders. Diagnostic services to the public are not available.
The AFL is committed to excellence in laboratory science. The Laboratories' scientists possess a high degree of expertise in their fields, and its technologists are highly trained and proficiency tested. The AFL is equipped with advanced instrumentation and technologies, and all methods are rigorously evaluated and validated prior to being accepted for use.
The AFL is located in Edmonton, Alberta.
