 | A native of Denmark, Mr. Morkeberg came to Alberta in 1898. His energy and knowledge made him a pioneer in the development of quality dairy products. He was a leader in the movement to organize dairymen and served as the first president of the Alberta Dairyman's Association in 1919. In 1917, his interest in the community reached provincial levels with his election to the Legislative Assembly.
