 | Mr. Hayes came to Strome in 1912 and soon became a community leader. He had been active in the creation and operation of regional, provincial and national livestock organizations. He had provided constant support for the cooperative movement, as evidenced by his 17 year presidency of the Alberta Livestock Cooperative.
