| Mr. Collicutt came to Alberta in 1889 and was soon involved in the cattle industry. In 1912 he began to raise purebred cattle and by 1922 he could boast of the largest herd of Herefords in all of North America. Among Hereford men, a Collicutt sale was not an event to miss. The long series of breed championships at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto and the Chicago International Livestock Exhibition are evidence of his success.
