    Get a Productivity Assessment

Watch this video to learn about the experiences – benefits and challenges - three Alberta agri-processors had going through the assessment process.

If you are looking to improve productivity through the adoption of lean/continuous improvement practices, lean and green practices, or through automation, apply for a grant under the Workforce Development program to complete an assessment of your facility and operations.
    Who is eligible?
Producers and processors operating in Alberta may apply.

How to apply: If you are interested in applying for a grant through the Workforce Development program please contact your Development Officer or New Venture Coach. For more information see Grant Program Terms and Conditions.

    Why go through an assessment?

    • Better quality, less defects
    • Faster response times to customer needs
    • Improved inventory turnover
    • Reduced steps in administrative tasks
    • More on-time deliveries
    • Improved processes for work flow
    • Higher outputs
    How does it work?
The assessment is offered in 2 phases for all three options. The initial assessment is an on-site evaluation, done by the consultant of your choice, to identify possible areas for improvement. The in-depth assessment enables you to work with the consultant of your choice to address these improvement opportunities.

For more information contact your AF Development Officer or Gerard Bos, Workforce Retention Specialist, or call 310-FARM.
