Two programs designed to help Alberta farms, ranches, and agri-processors with energy efficiency and solar projects continue to accept applications.

The Farm Energy and Agri-Processing (FEAP) Program shares costs with the agriculture and agri-processing sector on energy efficiency investments. The program is designed to encourage energy management which will result in cost savings, energy conservation, and ultimately in reduced greenhouse gas emissions. These incentives are available for farms, ranches, and agri-processors.

Find more information, terms and conditions, and application forms for the Farm Energy and Agri-Processing Program.

The On-Farm Solar Photovoltaics (OFSPV) Program provides funding for solar photovoltaics systems on an applicant’s property. Retroactive projects that have been completed after April 15, 2017 are also eligible.

Find more information, including eligibility requirements, and application forms for the On-Farm Solar Photovoltaics (OFSPV) Program.
