Each 4-H member showing a Hereford or Hereford Influence project shall be recognized accordingly. To receive recognition, club leaders should contact one of the following Hereford club representatives or the Hereford office two weeks before awards. In addition, any 4-H member who wins Champion, Reserve Champion or Rate of Gain honours at the club, district or regional level with a Hereford or Hereford Influence 4-H project and provides a photograph to the Alberta Hereford Association will receive an additional promotional item.
