Alberta Charolais Association awards will be presented to all 4-H members exhibiting a Charolais or Charolais cross steer or female. Please forward photographs of champions and high rate of gain animals for possible use in future breed promotion advertising.

Two provincial scholarships are available for members taking post secondary education in an agricultural related field. Please contact the Alberta Charolais Association office at the toll free phone/fax number 1-888-976-2333 or e-mail info@albertacharolais.com for forms and more information. The Canadian Charolais Youth Association Leadership scholarship is a new initiative by the CCYA National Board, intended to recognize the time and energy that youth members have committed to improving our industry. It is open to all CCYA members currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution. Click here to download the CCYA Leadership scholarship. Deadline to apply is July 22, 2009.

The Canadian Charolais Youth Association National Board Annual Essay Competition has been created by the CCYA National Board to encourage youth to be involved in the Charolais industry and actively promote the educational endeavours of CCYA members. Click here to get more information on how to enter the Essay competition. Deadline to apply is July 1, 2009.
