About Us
The Food Safety Branch of Alberta Agriculture and Forestry is a team of multi-disciplinary professionals focused on supporting industry success and public confidence in Alberta produced agri-food.

We work together in four main areas:
  • food safety systems and extension,
  • food safety policies,
  • conduct laboratory testing,
  • meat inspection.
