Alberta Agriculture and Forestry is pleased to invite you to attend the grand opening of the Bio Processing Innovation Centre, Bio-Industrial Opportunities Section's new pilot plant facility. The event will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, speeches from notable officials, technology demonstrations, and a guided tour. You will also be able to interact with our technical and business development teams to learn more about our work in bioindustrial applications, natural health products, food waste reduction, wastewater treatment, and other value added opportunities. Snacks and refreshments will also be provided. Invited guests from industry, government officials, academia, municipalities, funding agencies, and other stakeholder groups will contribute to the networking experience during the event.

Agenda

1:00 pm - Arrival, registration, and networking
1:30 pm - Introductions and opening remarks by senior management
1:35 pm - Remarks by senior government officials and ribbon cutting
1:45 pm - Demonstration stations open for tour
3:30 pm - Adjourn
