The purpose of the Canadian Agricultural Partnership Products to Markets Program is to support growth of Alberta’s agricultural industries by supporting the development of New Products and/or Processes, commercialization of products in New Markets, and expansion into local, domestic and international markets.
Eligible activities include:
Projects must include eligible activities and expenses that directly relate to the development of New Products/Processes and/or access to New Markets.
For funding purposes, the Program has the following two streams with separate budgets: Stream A – Activities 1 to 7; Stream B – Activity 8
Stream A Activities
- Product and Process Development
- Label and Package Development
- Processing Capacity Expansion
- Market Development
- Export Preparation and Planning
- Product Demonstration
- Activities to Support Aggregation and Distribution of Food
Stream B Activity
- AF-led Outbound Trade Initiatives
