AFSC Crop Insurance provides Alberta farmers with a production guarantee on crop losses caused by natural perils including: drought, snow, excess moisture, insect infestations, fire caused by lightning, hail, wind, plant disease, frost and wildlife damage. It offers four coverage levels - 50%, 60%, 70% and 80%. Over 40 types of crops are insurable. |
