 Flagstaff Region presents Essentials of Selling Local on Thursday, November 8, 2018, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in Sedgewick. Registration deadline is October 31.

This one-day workshop is for people interested in learning more about selling products directly to consumers and potentially transitioning into retail sales.

Content for the day:

    • Learn about the local product opportunity and the different direct marketing channels, there benefits and challenges.
    • Discover the scope of the retail market, market drivers and the pros and cons of accessing the retail market opportunity.
    • Meet the specialists available to assist you as you establish your business.
    • Hear about pricing and labeling that apply to your business.
    • Learn everything you need to know as you assess the retail market.
    • Learn about identifying your customer base and marketing tactics.
    • Receive insights into the Flagstaff County REACH and the Flagstaff Crafted initiative.
