Alberta companies are invited to participate in a trade mission to the European Union (EU) to pursue market opportunities in the Netherlands from October 15 to 19 and at the SIAL Paris trade show from October 21 to 26, 2018.

This multimarket mission will highlight Alberta as a preferred supplier of agri-food products, in particular value-added processed foods, educate companies about distribution channels and logistics of selling into the EU and capitalize on the opportunities resulting from the EU-Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).

The Netherlands – October 15-19, 2018

Alberta Agriculture and Forestry (AF) will deliver a three day program in the Netherlands that will include business-to-business (B2B) meetings with local importers/distributors, educational program and site/store tours in the Hague/Rotterdam/Amsterdam area.

SIAL Paris – October 21-26, 2018

The biannual SIAL Paris is one of the world's leading food and beverage trade fairs. AF will provide a walking program that will include meetings and introductions to various EU buyers and Canadian Trade Commissioners as well as store tours.

To be eligible for this mission, participating companies should be currently exporting.
