| | Background
The Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) hosted information sessions in 2017 to advise communities on the Lexin Resources Ltd. receivership process and to address any questions or concerns landowners have. AER made a commitment to hosting additional information sessions once the receivership process was at, or close to, resolution.
The AER will be hosting an information session to update area landowners/stakeholders on this matter. The Surface Rights Board (SRB), Orphan Well Association (OWA) and Farmers' Advocate Office (FAO) will also be providing an update, which will be followed by a question and answer period.
