Compiled by Statistics and Data Development Section, this book contains over 150 tables and figures, and is a principal source of statistics on the Alberta agri-food industry.

The dynamic trends occurring in the primary agricultural industry and the food and beverage processing sector are presented in the yearbook's statistical tables and charts, providing both a current and historical perspective.

The yearbook contains information on identifiable industry sectors such as crops, livestock, food and beverage, and industry measures and indicators such as farm income and economic indicators. Together, these sections constitute a reliable representation of Alberta's agri-food industry.
