| On average, the southeast corner of Alberta receives maximum daily temperatures hotter than 30°C between 10 and 20 times in a year, with some areas having even more days than 20 days. Medicine Hat receives an average of 23.6 days exceeding 30°C, including about 17.5 hot days in July and August. The number of days with temperatures higher than 30°C decreases as one goes farther north and west.
