 Technical Advisory Group
.
The Technical Advisory Group (TAG) is a partnership between the Natural Resources Conservation Board (NRCB) and Agriculture and Forestry (AF), with representation from the livestock industry. Its purpose is to develop technical guidelines that support the Agricultural Operation Practices Act (AOPA).

Technical guidelines clarify and provide guidance on practical and technical aspects of AOPA and its regulations. Guidelines are reviewed and updated as needed every five years.

The advisory group is responsible for addressing areas of AOPA that require technical guidance, based on staff and stakeholder feedback. The guidelines are developed by teams of technical experts from the NRCB, AF, and industry, with assistance from external sources as required.
