To support claims of lower greenhouse gas emissions using the Conservation Cropping protocol, a downloadable Best Practice Guide is available to inform farmers, aggregators, verifiers and offset buyers about the types of records and data management systems needed to reach reasonable level assurance (that evidence is accurate and correct). The Guide is based on findings from a series of on-farm studies including “mock verifications” of evidence types listed in the protocol. Please note that this document is not a government-approved best practice, but is intended as additional guidance about using agricultural records to document practice changes that lower greenhouse gas emissions. Please click here to download the Best Practice Guide.
