 The Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development (ARD) Bio-Based Chemicals Program includes two major bio-industrial sector priority areas: the Industrial Bio-Based Chemicals Initiative (IBI) and the Specialty Chemical Ingredients Initiative (SCI). The Bio-Based Chemicals Program is facilitating the development of new and additional value from agriculture biomass resources.
