Horseback riding offers many opportunities to people. It can provide a great way to optimize work on a farm, offers fiercely competitive sporting disciplines, and can provide a perfectly relaxing opportunity to enjoy nature. But any form of horseback riding can quickly turn into a dangerous situation in the blink of an eye.
One of the greatest and most severe hazards of horseback riding can be head injuries. Concussion, traumatic brain injury, being knocked out... whatever you call it, the severity of a head injury can be reduced or eliminated by wearing a properly fitted, well maintained ASTM/SEI (American Society for Testing and Materials/Safety Equipment Institute) or BSI (Brisith Standards Institute) approved equestrian helmet.
