Agriculture Research - Eligibility
Special consideration is given to applicants that are looking to establish ongoing research programs versus those that are proposing one-time research projects.
An Ag Research program:
- Refers to an area of research focus with clearly defined goals and outcomes.
- Is conducted over a medium term (3-5 years) but defined in the context of long-term 10 to 20 year capacity- building perspective.
- Is conducted in the context of reaching the goals of the Alberta Agricultural Research and Innovation Strategic Framework.
- A long-term perspective which guides strategic priorities leading to medium- and short-term focused implementation.
