Program Details

The Alberta Livestock Industry Development Fund (ALIDF) is committed to supporting innovation and creativity in the province's livestock industry. Working closely with our nine signatory organizations, the ALIDF considers a wide range of research and development projects to ensure the greatest benefit to producers and the industry.

These are four types of funding you can apply for:

  • Research (General)
  • Research (Value Added Initiative)
  • Development
  • Meat Product Commercialization
The ALIDF is one of 11 organizations that comprise the Agriculture Funding Consortium. This one-window service allows funding applicants to submit proposals once, and ensure their application will be reviewed by the organizations most likely to fund them.

Visit the Apply for Funding section of the ALIDF website for a step-by-step guide to the funding process as well as a link to the application forms on the Agriculture Funding Consortium website.
