Program Details
Careful consideration is required when placing poisons or control devices for the use in coyote control. Because of this, Agriculture and Forestry has instituted a Coyote Predation Control Manual and Study Guide that covers many aspects on predation control. County Agricultural Fieldmen have the knowledge and expertise to advise agricultural producers of the proper use of devices and poisons.
Agricultural Fieldmen, who wish to issue a Form 8 permit which allows a producer to place poisons and/or devices on his own property, must be in possession of valid Form 7 permit. A Form 7 permit is valid for 5 years.
For further information on Form 7 and 8 permits please see the Agricultural Pests Act and the Pest and Nuisance Control Regulation. |
