The CFIA Food Labelling Information Service consolidates and coordinates voluntary federal food label reviews. This service is particularly directed to facilitating market entry for new businesses.
Food processors can receive general labelling advice, including nutritional labelling, and have draft labels reviewed by contacting Food Safety and Fair Labelling offices in Edmonton and Calgary.
