Program Details

The Alberta Fish and Game Association has created the Operation Grassland Community program because it believes that prairie habitats can be wisely used, ensuring the sustainability of both wildlife habitats and agricultural livelihoods.

Through direct landholder contacts, voluntary land stewardship agreements, environmental on-farm planning and range management workshops, and in concert with a highly successful youth education campaign, Operation Grassland Community is working with landowners and managers to build the foundation for a sustainable prairie landscape.
