  FCC Ventures is the venture capital/private equity division of Farm Credit Canada. FCC Ventures invests in Canadian businesses that are dedicated to serving and advancing agriculture in Canada and throughout the global economy.

FCC Ventures focuses on providing equity and quasi-equity financing to small and medium-sized companies in these sectors:

  • Value-added processing
  • Agricultural equipment
  • Commercial scale production
  • Agricultural biotechnology
  • Businesses that support agriculture
  • Forestry
Investments are made in early to mature-stage companies with these characteristics:
  • a well-defined market with high growth potential
  • a sustainable competitive advantage
