The Quick Market Update is a report compiled for producers and agribusiness to provide a quick and easy to read update on the crop, cattle and hog markets. The first portion of the report provides recent price ranges and a brief analysis of the short term trend of selected futures markets. Surveyed prices of major crops are provided, and a comparison to the previous report's price is made. Livestock prices and production statistics are provided, along with a comparison of those numbers to the previous report and to those of one year ago. A short commentary summaries the current market situation and provides some market strategy to consider. Links to other sources of market information are also provided. |
