Productivity Improvement Project

Do you want to increase profits and production capacity while reducing waste?

The Productivity Improvement Project has launched this year’s program for supporting assessments and coaching in the areas of: Automation/Equipment; Process Improvement; Lean Principles.

Support is available for qualified agri-processors to cover: 100% of initial assessment; 80% of in-depth automation assessment; 80% of lean coaching.

Alberta Made Kiosk’s Study
AFPA will be engaging in a feasibility study to determine the "appetite" for a retail storefront or kiosk in Calgary or Edmonton in a high traffic zone. This will give members the opportunity to sell their ‘made in Alberta’ products and increase the profile of the food and beverage processing industry in Alberta.
