On previous programs we’ve heard about some of the improvements and changes to the AgriProfit$ program—from the timing of report delivery and interpreting the economic information in those reports, to resources to help producers interpret the cost of production reports. This year the AgriProfit$ team produced the historic 22-year cow-calf benchmarks that can be used by producers, government agencies and academics. Anatoliy Oginskyy, senior production economist with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry and AgriProfit$ lead, says this will be extended in 2019.

Interview with Anatoliy Oginskyy (3:10 minutes) (1.45 Mb)

Oginskyy encourages interested producers to apply as soon as possible for the AgriProfit$ program. For more information, go to www.agriculture.alberta.ca/agriprofits.
