 On yesterday’s program we heard the 2017 forecast for grasshopper. Today, Scott Meers, insect management specialist with Alberta Agriculture, takes a look at bertha armyworm, which he says while it is difficult to accurately predict the population based on the 2016 moth catch, the trend appears to be lower populations in almost all regions of the province.
