The official grand opening of a rhodiola rosea processing plant was held on Friday. I caught up with Premier Ed Stelmach, who was on hand for the ribbon cutting along with other dignitaries including Agriculture Minister George Groeneveld, about the significance of the plant.

Interview with Ed Stelmach (1:15 minutes) (314 Kb)

Rhodiola roots will be sliced and dried at the processing plant and then sold to buyers for further processing into powder for capsules.
