| | Alberta and Australia have a lot in common, especially when it comes to agriculture. One area of commonality is the control of animals—wild dogs in Australia, coyotes in Alberta. Kim Nielsen, an ag fieldman from Clearwater County, spent six months in Australia working on wild dog control. Matt Beach, a wild dog controller from Australia, was recently in Alberta, and I spoke with him about what was learned from Alberta’s experience controlling coyotes.
Interview with Matt Beach (1:19 minutes) (329 Kb)
We’ll hear from Nielsen in an upcoming program.
