| | Farmers have a role to play to make sure Alberta remains rat free. Rob Pulyk, an inspector with Alberta Agriculture, says there are some practical things producers can do, not only around the farm, but also when transporting feed.

As Pulyk mentioned, if you do spot what you think are rats or rat droppings, don’t disturb the nest, and call the Ag Info Centre at 310-FARM or your local ag fieldman.
