Parkland County, with its partners Brazeau County, Lac Ste. Anne County and Yellowhead County, are looking for people to fill out an online survey as part of their proposal to the Canadian Smart Cities Challenge, sponsored by Infrastructure Canada.

This proposal has been selected as one of the twenty national finalists, and is the only one about agriculture. The partnership has been tasked to develop a final proposal to compete for $10 million. Collectively, a suite of tools is being developed that is tentatively called the AGora platform that will transform the agricultural community in the Parkland region and beyond. As part of the proposal’s next step, organizers are asking residents to complete an online survey about the Smart Cities challenge.
