| ||Alberta Agriculture and Forestry’s (AF) popular Crop Protection 2016 publication, or “Blue Book” as it’s more widely-known as, is on sale now, and is also available as a free downloadable .pdf.
“Crop Protection is updated annually, and provides the most recent information on registered pesticide products,” says Gerard Vaillancourt, director, information management section, AF. “This year’s edition has new registrations, and thousands of small updates that ensure Alberta producers are getting the best crop protection information possible.”
In addition to the electronic format, the traditional printed format is available for only $12. “The $12 charge for the hard copy is just to cover our costs in having the book printed,” says Vaillancourt. “Since there are no printing costs associated with the electronic version, we can offer it free of charge. The electronic version allows users to access the book through a computer, and is completely searchable.”
