| ||The 12th annual AIA Conference, hosted by the Alberta Institute of Agrologists (AIA), will tackle current and emerging issues for Alberta on land-use, development and its relationship to people.
Held at the Banff Centre, Banff, Alberta, from April 19-21, 2016, the conference is three days of interaction, updating and intense learning for professional agrologists and the agricultural and environmental industries in Alberta.
“This year’s conference will provide an opportunity to learn about and discuss key issues about the use of Alberta’s land and how key sectors of Alberta’s people are involved now and into the future," says David Lloyd, CEO and registrar, AIA. "The Alberta Institute of Agrologist’s registered professional members work the front line sectors in agriculture and the environment. The conference offers conference attendees a forum for continuous learning, a chance to debate and share opinions and an opportunity to network with their colleagues. The conference is also an opportunity to inform the public, various industry professionals and government representatives about current research and issues affecting the land.”
