Explore Local is holding a Social Media Bootcamp on February 2, 2016, at the Agriculture Centre in Lethbridge and, again on February 4, 2016, at Centre 2000 in Grande Prairie.

“At both events, Megan Madden of Southpaw Communications will cover social media marketing and platforms such as Twitter and Facebook,” says Karen Goad, farm direct marketing specialist, Alberta Agriculture and Forestry, Grande Prairie. “Megan will help you decide which platforms can be used to reach your audience while following industry trends, networking and crowdsourcing information.”

The Social Media Bootcamp runs both days from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cost is $25 and includes lunch and refreshments. To register, call 1-800-387-6030 by January 26 (Lethbridge) and January 28 (Grande Prairie). Minimal pre-course work will be required.
