Abstract:
The AGRASID Soil Layers file (AG30SLF) represents the one to many relationship between a soil name and its associated soil layers. The fields defined in this file were determined to be the minimum data set necessary to interpret a soil specifically for agronomic purposes (CanSIS Manual 3 Procedures and Users Guide revised 1994). AG30SLF links to AG30SNF via the NEW_SYMBOL key field.
Purpose:
The Soil Layer File (AG30SLF) contains information on the chemical and physical properties for each layer (horizon) associated with each soil name listed in the Soil Names File (AG30SNF).
