This work was undertaken to look at the carbon footprint of wood and agricultural residue sources of pulp to determine whether the use of crop residue has the potential to reduce the environmental “load” associated to pulp production.

This paper assessed the carbon footprint of agricultural residues for pulp and was intended for use by a non-agriculture audience. The analysis was based on existing published literature and illustrates a requirement for current agriculture industry practices to be disseminated. Click here to download the paper.
