| | Bacterial Wilt.
Corynebacterium insidiosum
What to look for?
Formerly a very destructive disease of alfalfa common in North America. Most cultivars bred in North America now have high levels of resistance. Mowing spreads the disease from plant to plant. European cultivars and on occasion susceptible North American cultivars especially under irrigation may show significant damage.
