Recommendation: recommended at Edmonton, Calgary, Coaldale 1 and Coaldale 2, satisfactory growth at Bowden and Brooks, not recommended at Lacombe. Plants did not survive the first winter at Fairview or Grande Prairie.
Trial Average:
Height: 144 cm Spread: 110 cm
Form:
upright, leggy, spreading shrub, will produce root suckers.
Features:
gray-green leaves, turning yellow in fall, lavender blooms later in spring.
Culture:
prefers dry and saline soils, full sun, suckers freely when roots are injured, xeriscape plant.
