The 3rd Canadian Barley Symposium was held June 19-20, 2003 in Red Deer, Alberta. The 4th Canadian Barley Symposium held July 17-20, 2005 in Red Deer and in conjunction with the 2005 North American Barley Researchers Workshop.

Both conferences were hosted by the Barley Development Council.
