Age Verification - "First Time" Activation of your CCIA Account

 A producer account must be set up in the Canadian Cattle Identification Agency (CCIA) database to receive and store all information received regarding age verification of animals or premise identification.

This step must be done prior to accessing the CCIA website.

To active your account:

1.Contact the Canadian Cattle Identification Agency head office in Calgary.
  • Phone number: 877-909-2333

2.Alberta producers can:
  • Contact the CCIA head office in Calgary, or;
  • Contact the Ag-Ino Centre at 310-FARM (3276) and ask for Sarah, or;

The agent answering the call will set up your account.

    This completes the process to set up your CCIA account.

    Once a user name and password is obtained, you can log onto the CCIA website to either enter age verification data or to provide premise identification information.
