Keith and Ronda Reesor and family plan to move into agri-tourism to foster their awareness of western heritage and history through ranchland tourism. The Reesor’s ranching history goes back to the late 1800’s. They have been running a ranching operation for three generations and for the past 5 years they have been certified to sell organic beef. The Reesor’s want to move further into organic production of their range and increase their commodity products.

Plan for Growth:

  • Encourage western heritage and history through ranchland ag tourism by having a guest ranch, western museum, mercantile store and retail outlet for organic beef.
  • Enhance and increase ag business to involve children and children’s children in a sustainable succession plan.
  • Use low input organic methods to enhance the health of their range and increase their commodity output.
The Farm Renewal-Makeover Scholarship will support the Reesor family in marketing expansion and succession planning consultation for their operation.
