Are You Familiar With Various Marketing Strategies?

The following is a checklist to help guide you to the next step in the entrepreneurial process. Although this is not a comprehensive list, consider the following criteria while reviewing various marketing strategies.

You have created business cards and/ or brochures that clearly advertise and explain your product or service and have the appropriate contact information listed
You are familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of various promotional methods
You have chosen a media type (radio, flyers, newspapers, brochures etc.) that will most effectively reach your target customer
The success of your promotional methods has been measured and taken into account by conducting surveys and interviews
You have considered reaching a larger customer base by using an E-business marketing strategy and making your business accessible online
You have developed a price list that can be used to help promote your business and keep your customers informed
You have determined the maximum price that customers will pay for your product or service
You have pinpointed the time of year or season that has the highest demand for your product or service
If you meet the criteria on this checklist then you have considered your marketing options and with that in hand you should start Developing Your Business Plan. This plan will act as a roadmap to help guide you through the development and management of your business.
