 This package, developed by the University of Saskatchewan's Agricultural Health and Safety Network of the Centre for Agricultural Medicine, is an easy-to-read, useful, information-packed module for farm families who wish to learn more about the safe handling of chemicals. Topics include:
  • Classes of chemicals
  • Respirator fit tests
  • Asthma and exposure to insecticides
  • Pesticide poisoning
  • List of Poison Control Centres in Canada
  • Chemical storage
  • Spraying checklist
In addition, the package contains a Farmer's Guide to Pesticide Labels, a kid's matching symbols game, a Pesticide Applied sign for use on sprayed fields, as well as current newsletter.
