	This Act provides a workable system for identification, sale and movement of livestock within the province, and to other parts of Canada. (December 12, 2007) - 07570 Livestock Identification And Brand Inspection Act (March 14, 2007) -- 07085 Livestock Identification And Brand Inspection Act (March 14, 2007) -- 07086 The Livestock Identification and Commerce Act (LICA) will be proclaimed into force as soon as possible and will replace the Brand Act, the Livestock Identification and Inspection Act and the Livestock and Livestock Products Act. Summer 2008 is expected to be the time of transition from the existing to the new legislative framework (i.e., proclaim LICA and enact regulations to bring the LICA into force.)
