 This Act establishes of a Board of Trustees to oversee the administration of a trust created as a result of a payment made by the federal government to the Government of Alberta in relation to the Canadian Wheat Board Operations. The duties of the Board include awarding grants for prizes and scholarships. It is also authorised to assist in the development of cooperative marketing among agricultural producers and the general betterment of agriculture in Alberta through making grants or loans to cooperative societies.
